Bio
In addition to being a celebrated member of the successful Christian rock band, “Rock Nation”, Cedric has also shared the stage with several other distinguished artists such as: R &B artist “Wyclef”, Gospel great “William H. Murphy III”, “Kirk Franklin”, “Shana Wilson”, Fred Hammond, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Deitrick Haddon and many more.
This unshakeable desire to create music birthed a vision to establish what is now Music Capitol Records along with his partner Nolan Mersier. During many visits to the Motown Museum in Detroit, in 2006 Cedric was inspired to make a change in music by getting back to the original spirit of Motown. Cedric wanted to produce music that aided in building people emotionally, spiritually, and socially.
With Cedric’s ability to infuse classical melodies into rich, pop and soulful productions. the current and up and coming projects are sure to score with fans and critics alike. Already in release is the meditative "Meditations of Thine Heart" CD. And in the very near future is the first CD release by Dillon, called "Dillon".

Music Capitol Records LLC (MCR),was established in 2006 by Cedric Berry and Douglas Mersier. The conception of MCR came after a visit to Detroit’s Hitsville USA.The two were inspired by Motown’s spirit of love and ambition to make great music that would eventually change the world.
MCR specializes in music of every genre bringing fresh and innovative ideas to the forefront of the industry. It is our mission to heal and unite the hearts and minds of the people through music and entertainment by the enlightenment of love and peace. On “The Meditation of Thine Heart” CD, a series of musical recordings, also MCR’s first album release expresses the company's deep sincerity to develop people morally through music and entertainment.

MCR seeks to create the music you live by, dance to, love with, pray to, cry and laugh because of, reaching the very depths of spirit and soul, changing who you are for the better. Our objective is simply to create a business entity that enables our community of staff to produce, distribute and perform musical works to be marketed through digital satellite networks, internet access and live performances.
